DCKO is a free-to-play mobile fighter stacked with the DC Legends you know and love, in arenas torn from the cities and cosmic corners they call home. Easy to pick up, hard to master, and built to keep you coming back for more.

Consider this the first glance into gameplay: how the combat hits, how the modes play, and how you build a lineup all your own.

While we are still in development, everything here is either in the game today or on track for launch. There’s a whole lot more we cannot wait to show you as we get closer to release!

Learn It Once, Fight Anywhere

One combat engine drives every fight in DCKO, whether you are trading blows with a live opponent or carving through the DC Universe itself. Learn it once, and it carries you everywhere.

The basics click in seconds. Tap for quick jabs, swipe for medium attacks, and swipe up for bone-rattling heavy grabs, and you are throwing hands inside your first minute. Then it opens up fast. Launch an opponent skyward and juggle them, improvise on the fly, and land combos that are yours to chain together.

Every attack has an answer, and finding it is the fun. Block too long and you get grabbed, so create some distance before it costs you. Grabs, aerial combos, and crushing heavy hits crack open a stubborn defense, and every one of those tools is coming right back at you from the opposing side. Less a button-mashing race, more a high-speed mind game, and that is exactly where the depth lives.

Then there is your Super. Bank your meter across the round, then unleash a screen-swallowing Super that hits like the DC icon behind it and rips the fight back from the brink.

It Takes Two

Here is the twist that changes how you play: you never fight with one Legend. You fight with two!

Tag in your duo so the Legend on the bench is never truly out of it. Call one in for a lightning assist, then chain your rosters Supers together with a Super Tag that ends the conflict on the spot.

That turns your team into a puzzle worth obsessing over, and a chance to build the DC team-up you always wanted. Set a DC Super Hero shoulder to shoulder with the DC Super-Villain you never thought they would fight beside. Send a heavy hitter like Superman to launch opponents into the air and follow up with a quick aerial combo, or lean on a fast damage-dealer like Nightwing to chip enemies down from range. Stack strengths, bury weaknesses, and hunt for the two that click like they were born to team up. The right pairing, called at the right moment, wins the whole thing.

Live PvP

Queue up and a real opponent loads in across from you, their own DC duo locked and ready. Not an AI. Not a cached team running on autopilot while its owner is offline. A person on the other end, reacting to and anticipating your every move, and the one thing a bot can never fake.

Because there is a real mind across from you, every fight becomes a live problem to solve. They learn your habits, and bait your go-to move, so staying ahead means out-adapting someone who is adapting to you. No two matches ever play out the same.

Drop into a quick match when you want a few rounds, or take on players around the world and climb the global leaderboards to prove where you stand. Every win earns its keep, unlocking new abilities and stat boosts as you grow your Legends and tune your team to your style.

Rich PvE

Now point that same fighter at the DC Universe itself, and a whole solo campaign opens up. PvE runs on an overarching story that throws your Legends against some of the most dangerous forces in the DC Universe: Ra’s al Ghul and the League of Assassins, Amazo’s robot army, the demon hordes of Trigon, and more.

You take it on across a growing set of modes, Seasonal Missions, Rifts, and the Arena, with more to come. Along the way you bank the currency and XP that level up your Legends and power up your roster for whatever is next, all progress carrying over to PvP. From quick missions you can clear on a coffee break to some of the hardest content in the game, there is always another challenge waiting.

Your Legends, Your Way

Your roster pulls from across the DC Universe, featuring iconic characters like Batman, Harley Quinn, and Superman, alongside other DC Super Heroes and DC Super-Villains. A fresh Legend joins every month, so the bench never stops deepening.

Then you make each one unmistakably yours. Level them up, unlock new abilities and stat boosts, and swap their Supers to completely change how they fight. Build the kit that fits your playstyle. Want a new look? Unlock costumes that reach back through decades of DC history. Two players running the exact same pair can feel worlds apart, and that’s the whole point.

The Stage, and the Look

You will brawl in battlegrounds ripped straight from DC history, from the Batcave and the Fortress of Solitude to the Lazarus Pits and beyond, with more on the way. And all of it moves like a living comic book torn off the page: heavy inks, electric color, and Supers that hit like a full splash page.
